18 t三流非对称中间包流场数值模拟

Numerical Simulation of Flow Field in 18 t Three-Stream Asymmetric Tundish

摘要: 针对三流非对称中间包,运用ANSYS Fluent软件对其控流方案进行模拟,比较不同方案下钢液的流场、温度分布和停留时间分布(RTD)特征。模拟结果显示:原方案中有明显的短路流出现,各个水口钢液的流动一致性差,3个水口的实际停留时间分别为459.44 s、519.43 s和636. 94 s,并且温度最大温差为7 K,死区比例为23.9%;最佳优化方案减少了短路流,钢液流动一致性提高,3个水口的实际停留时间分别为517.13 s、532.66 s和502. 12 s,死区比例降低到19. 8%,最大温差降低到2. 5 K,流动一致性良好,钢液流动更合理。工业试验以316L钢种为研究对象,中间包T[O]由49×10-6降至40×10-6,降幅为18. 4%,铸坯T[O]由34×10-6降至28×10-6,降幅为17. 7%,洁净度改善较为明显;中间包夹杂物数量密度由7. 2个/mm2降至4. 7个/mm2,铸坯由5.4个/mm2降至3. 5个/mm2,夹杂物数量降低。

Abstract: For the three-flow asymmetric tundish, ANSYS Fluent software was used to simulate its flow control scheme. The flow field, temperature distribution and residence time distribution (RTD) characteristics of molten steel under different scenarios were compared. The simulation results show that there are obvious short-circuit currents in the original scheme, and the consistency of molten steel flow at each nozzle is poor. The actual residence time of the three nozzles is 459. 44 s, 519. 43 s, and 636. 94 s respectively, and the maximum temperature difference is 7 K. The proportion is 23. 9% ; the optimal optimization scheme reduces the short-circuit flow and improves the consistency of the molten steel flow. The actual residence time of the three nozzles is 517. 13 s, 532.66 s, and 502. 12 s respectively, the dead zone ratio is reduced to 19.8% , and the maximum temperature difference is reduced to 2. 5 K, the flow consistency is good and the flow of molten steel is more reasonable. In the industrial test, the content of T[0] in the tundish was reduced from 49 x 10-6 to 40 x 10-6, and the decrease was 18.4%. The casting billet T[0] was reduced from 34 x 10-6 to 28 x 10-6, and the decrease was 17. 7%, The purity of the inclusions in the tundish was reduced from 7. 2/mm2 to 4.7/mm2, and the cast billet decreased from 5.4/mm2 to 3. 5/mm2 , and the number of inclusions decreased.
