Math Model for Temperature prediction of Heavy Rail during Universal Tandem Rolling Process

According to universal reversing tandem rolling process of heavy rail, the calculated program to predict average temperature of heavy rail head, web and base at any point of time has been worked out with selected reasonable math models of rail temperature change in rail shape groove rolling and universal groove rolling stage. Results show that during rolling process the temperature of rail web is highest, that of rail head is second and the temperature of rail base is lowest ; as compared predict value with measured value of the temperature of rail head, rail web and rail base, the error is respectively ≤11.4 ℃, ≤14.5 ℃ and ≤9.8 ℃.
