The effect of mold powder with different type and addition of carbon materials on carbon pick-up in 0.003%C ultra low carbon molten steel in 200 mm x 100 mm mold has been studied by theoretical calculation and experimental measurement. The results showed that with casting rate 2.0 m/min
on steady condition of continuous casting
