The numerical simulation of fluid field of 70L steel(0.70C)in 280×380×800(mm)mold and molten steel flowage at inner of two-side bole immersed nozzle structure with casting speed 0.8 m/min have been caried out by commercial software CFX4.4.The results showed that as side hole inclination was 10°and 20°
there was second eddy near the liquid surface in mold easy to induce entrapped slag
while inclination was 30° the liquid surface relatively calm; and as submerged depth of immersed nozzle was 175~225 mm the impact of nozzle jet flow on liquid surface of steel in mold was not obvious.
