Influence of finishing temperature 810 ~960 ℃ and forging ratio 3 -6 on precipitation of ferrite in bainitic steel-0. 16C

0. 001 Ti has been studied. Results showed that the critical temperature of phase transformation for austenite to ferrite increased by deformation of the bainitic steel during forging; with forging finishing at 810 ~ 820 ℃. the defbnnation induced ferrite precipitation occurred in steel and with increasing forging ratio from 3 to 6
the volume fraction of ferrite in steel increased from 1. 8% to 9. 6% accompanied acic ular ferrite evolving to massive ferrite; and with forging finishing at 940 -960 °C
most of ferrite in steel was acicular
with increasing forging ratio from 3 to 6 the volume fraction of ferrite in steel dec revised from 3. 0% to 0. 6% .
