In order to be carried out austenite recrystallization control rolling
based on recrystallization diagram of GCr15 bearing steel produced by a 30 t converter at Shijiazhuang Steel and combined actual technology of Φ35 mm round bar rolled by 14 pass at 1 150 ~ 910 ℃ at situ
the simulation test to samples cut from concasting billet of GCr15 bearing steel has been carried out by using Gleeble 1500 thermal simulation machine with 6 pass at 1 150 ~910 ℃. Simulation test results showed that with accumulated deformation 82%
the grain size rating of samples was 6 with recrystallization ratio 91%. As increasing the percent reduction of Φ530 mm rolling mill to increase the accumulated deformation from 52% to 60%
the grain of Φ35 mm GCr15 bearing steel shall fine further.
