The 24 mm plate of 0. 069r ( Ti + B) microalloying 0. 17C-0.92Si-l. 63Mn steel was rolled by φ500 mm medium-heavy mill in laboratoiy from 135 mm cast slab. The effect of finishing rolling temperature
beginning and finishing water-cooling temperature on structure and mechanical properties of test steel was studied. Results showed that with finishing rolling at 920℃
beginning cooling at 900℃,finishing cooling at 180 ℃
cooling rale 30 ℃/s and with finishing rolling at 880 ℃
beginning cooling at 860℃
finishing cooling at 280 ℃,cooling rate 22 °C/s
the struct Lire ami mechiiiiical properties of steel were equal to that with traditional 880 ℃ for 1 h quenching + 220 ℃ for 6 h tempering process.
