Structure and mechanical properties of0. 15C- 1.5Mn- 1.5Al-0.3Si TRIP steel heated at 820 ℃ for 2 min then quenching in 450 ℃ salt bath for 5~300 s
air cooling have been studied. Results showed that with increasing iso- thermal-time in Bainite transformation field at 450 ℃
the yield strength and elongation of steel increased while tensile strength decreased
and the product of tensile strength-elongation of steel was highest i.e.23000 MPa% with isothermal- treating for 60 s; as isothermal-treating for less than 60 s
with increasing isothermal-treating time
the retained austenite content in steel increased
as isothermal-treating for more than 60 s
with increasing isothermal-treating time
the retained austenite content in steel decreased
and the retained austenite content in steel isothermal-treating for 60 s was highest i.e. 14%.
