The effect of finishing temperature (840 Y and 860 °C )
quick cooling to different temperature (730 ~ 630 °C ) and holding time (5 ~ 10 s) on ferrite transformation of DP600 hot-rolled dual-phase steel ( % :≤0. 1C
≤1.5Si
≤1.5Mn
≤0. lOAIs
≤0. 50Cr) with finishing rolling deformation 60% has been studied by using Gleeble-1500 thermal simulator. Results show that with increasing holding time and decreasing finishing temperature it is obviously to promote the ferrite transformation and to increase the volume fraction of ferrite in steel ; as the holding temperature at first quick cooling drops to 630 °C from 730 °C
the volume fraction of ferrite in steel increases by about 20% and the tensile strength of steel decreases by about 60 MPa.
