Steel 35MnB is melted by 40 t EAF-LF-VD-180 mm x 180 mm billet CC arc furnace flow sheet and 100 t BOF-LF-RH-200 mm x 200 mm billet CC Converter flow sheet. The requirement of technical specifications for steel 35MnB is end-quenching hardenability J19 HRC value is 33 〜41. Examination results show that the JI9 HRC value of steel 35MnB produced by arc furnace flow sheet is 25 〜28
and the J19 HRC value of steel 35MnB produced by converter flow sheet is 36 ~ 41. The end-quenching hardenabilities of steel 35MnB produced by arc furnace flow sheet and converter flow sheet have been compared and analyzed. It is obtained by analysis that the average N content in steel 35MnB produced by arc furnace reaches (80 ~ 90) x 10
