The numerical simulation and analysis on temperature field
stress-strain field and rolling force for <I)20 mm to 616. 5 mm 4 pass pre-finishing rolling process of steel 82B (/% : 0.79-0.86C
0.15-0.35Si
0.60 -0.90Mn
≤0.030S
≤0.030P) at steelworks are carried out by using nonlinear finite element method analysis software ABAQUS and an established 3-demensional thermo-mechanical coupling model between wire and roller. Results show that the simulated results conform to the measured results ; The difference between center temperature and surface temperature of stock during pre-finishing rolling process is 130 ℃ ; and with using this model to analyze front-sliding during rolling at worksite
it is obtained that main factors to influence the front-sliding are elongation coefficient
rolling groove size
rolling speed and ratio between roll diameter and stock thickness.
