Production flow sheet for Φ130 mm round bar of steel 20CrMnTiH is 120 t BOF-LF-VD-300 mm x430 mm bloom casting-continuous rolling. Carbon macro-segregation of rolled bar and casting bloom produced by different continuous casting process (liquid supper-heating extent 15 ~30℃
electromagnetic stirring with 0-400 A) show that higher supper- heating extent and stronger mold electromagnetic stirring aggravate the carbon macro-segregation of bloom and rolled bar of steel 20CrMnTiH
and the serious carbon macro-segregation intensifies dendritic crystal segregation increases rating of banded structure of steel
and enhances hardness value of positive carbon segregation region of annealed steel products.
