) is developed by new fluorite ball process technology at Fogang Deyu Fluorite Bail Co. Due to high CaF2 content
low chalking ratio
damp-proof
increasing smelting slag speed to shorten steelmaking period
it is widely used in steelmaking of stainless steels. The results of refining stainless steel such as steel 304 (0Crl8Ni8) by 18 ~60 t AOD units show that as compared with common fluorite mine (75% CaF
2
)the consumption of fluorite ball decreases by 20% ~ 30%
the lime consumption decreases by 0 ~ 10% and the steelmaking time reduces 0 ~ 15 min.
