The iron ladle injecting dephosphorization process is adopted to supply quality low phosphorus hot metal for a 70t AOD to melt 400 series stainless steel and replace the EAF melting link at stainless steel works
finally the new 1-step stainless steel steelmaking process is realized. The production practice shows that the initial hot metal [P] is 0. 20%
after iron ladle injecting dephosphorization treatment the hot metal [P] is 0.001%~0.010%
the hot metal [C] ≥3. 2% and temperature ≥1320°C
