and the distribution of specific surface area and size of pore of lime are measured by an automate pressure mercury analyzer. The
experiment is carried out by a single variable method to study the effect of slag basicity
melting temperature
slag-metal ratio and activity of lime on desulphurization of hot metal. The test results show that the lime with activity 397 mL is larger specific surface area and more uniform pore distribution
it has best desulphurization effect. With slag basicity 2.25
slagmetal ratio 15:100 and at 1390℃
by using lime with activity 397 mL the desulphurization ratio of metal is up to 97.2%.
