Inconel 690 alloy is widely used in steam generator heat transfer tubes in nuclear power plants. It usually u¬ses the vacuum induction furnace smelting consumable electrode
smelting cost is high. In this study
the thermodynamic analysis and reduction process of Inconel 690 alloy melt were discussed
and it was considered that the consumable electrode meeting the standard requirements could be produced by the arc furnace + argon oxygen refining furnace smelting process. The practice shows that the process is feasible
the chemical composition of the consumable electrode meets the requirements
and the gas content is low. For the production of the product opened up a low cost
