NS1402合金ESR7.85t电极棒缩孔优化的数值模拟

Numerical Simulation on Optimization of Shrinkage Cavity in ESR 7.85t Electrode of Alloy NS1402

摘要: NS1402合金(/%:0.01C,0.15Si,0.34Mn,0.004P,0.004S,22.33Cr,40.07Ni,3.22Mo,2.29Cu,0.87Ti,0.11Al,30.6Fe)7.85t电渣重熔用40t EAF+VOD冶炼的电极棒凝固收缩过程中容易产生严重的缩孔缺陷。借助商业软件CAD,GEOMESH和MeshCAST,建立了该电极棒的充型和凝固模型,得出模拟中心缩孔直径为248mm,与实测值比较,相对误差为4.6%。结果表明,将电极棒倒置可以减小缩孔直径32.2%;随着绝热板长度的增加,缩孔减轻,将绝热板长度增加200mm,可以基本消除冒口下的缩孔。

Abstract: The serious shrinkage cavity defect in 7. 85 t electrode of alloy NS1402 (/%: 0.01C, 0.15Si, 0.34Mn, 0.004P, 0.004S, 22.33Cr, 40.07Ni, 3.22Mo, 2.29Cu, 0.87Ti, 0.11Al, 30.6Fe) melted by 40t EAF+VOD for ESR forms easily in solidification process. By using commercial software CAD, GEOMESH and MeshCAST a model of the electrode filling and solidifying has been established to get the simulated diameter of center shrinkage cavity being 248mm, as compared with measured value the relative error is 4.6%. Results show that as the electrode is located upside down, the diameter of shrinkage cavity decreases by 32.2% ; with increasing the length of insulation board the shrinkage cavity reduces ,and with increasing the length of insulation board by 200mm, the shrinkage cavity below hot top is basically eliminated.
