Thermal expansion characteristics and elevated temperature mechanical properties of 200 mm x 1 350 mm casting slab of steel Q450NQR1 (% : 0. 05 ~0. 10C

0. 15 ~0. 35Ni
0. 40 - 0. 60Cr) have been examined by using thermal expansion tester DIL402C and thermal simulater Gleeble-1500D. Results show that with increasing heating and cooling rate from 5 ℃/min to 10 ℃/min
the heating phase transformation region moves up and the cooling phase transformation region moves down; the secondary brittleness zone of casting slab of steel Q450NQR1 is 750 ~ 1 050 ℃
therefore the straightening temperature of slab should be ≥1 050 ℃.
