A system of numerical simulation to predict temperature field of rolling stock of bearing steel GCr15 (0. 99% C
1. 47% Cr) from 160 mm x 160 mm billet rolling to Φ25. 0 mm and Φ35. 0 mm bar by rough rolling
No1 and No2 intermediate passes rolling and KOCKS mill rolling has been established to study the change of temperature of stock during rolling
the effect of inlet rolling speed at Nol intermediate passes (0. 55 m/s and 1. 1 m/s) on temperature of stock during rolling process and the effect cooling process after rolling (2 segment quick cooling and 3 segment quick cooling) on temperature of stock. Results show that the relative errors between calculated values and measured values are ≤3%.
