With the thermal compensation technology including using CO secondary burning
3.5% ~5.0% Si high carbon ferrochromium and alloys baking
the reduced product SiO
decreases by 800 kg to increase the deoxidation ability of silicon; with controlling AOD slag basicity 2.3~2.4 and carried out secondary reduction in AOD refining
and adding 5 kg/t active lime in LF refining process
the efficiency of deoxidation and desulphurization increases by more than 30% ; and with ( CaO)/( SiO
2
)= 2.2 of CaO-SiO
2
-MgO slag series controlling adding amount of fluorite amounting to 13%~17% of the total lime to get better slag viscosity and be available to slagging and absorbing inclusions
the total oxygen content in Φ5.5 mm wire rod decreases to
