The high-strength wear-resisting steel HNM450 to meet the complex working conditions of the coal mill has been developed. Its tensile strength is 1727 MPa
elongation after fracture is 14.5%
average HBW hardness number is 522
and impact energy at -20℃ is 38J
it has good strength
plasticity and low temperature toughness.The comparative test results of corrosion and wear simulating the actual working condition of the coal mill show that the corrosion and wear resistance of HNM450 products at 200 ℃ high temperature
pH=5 in the weak acidic humid environment and at 200 ℃ high temperature
pH=9 in the weak alkaline humid environment is obviously better than that of HARDOX450 steel. HNM450 steel has been used in the manufacture of coal mills for downstream users
realized the domestic substitution of imported HARDOX450 steel.
