12流小方坯6流中间包结构优化的数值模拟和冶金效果

Numerical Simulation and Metallurgical Effect for Structure Optimization of 6-Strand Tundish for 12-Strand Casting Billets

摘要: 利用数值模拟对宣钢12流150mm×150mm连铸机的35 t 6流中间包的三维流场、浓度场和温度场进行研究,得出了最佳控流装置挡渣墙孔径120 mm,水平偏角5°,竖直仰角5°。应用结果显示,优化结构中间包的流场明显改善,各流的流动特性趋于一致,钢液对第6流塞棒的冲击减轻,各流最大温差由原先的10 K降低至4K。且连浇时间由原先的20h延长到26h。

Abstract: The three-dimensional flow field, concentration field and temperature field of a 35 t 6-strand tundish for 12-strand 150 mm x 150 mm continuous machine at Xuanhua Steel have been studied by using numerical simulation and the optimum flow control device slag dam with hole diameter 120 mm, horizontal deviation angle 5° and vertical angle of elevation 5° is obtained. Application Results show that the flow field in structure-optimized tundish improved obviously, the flow behavior of each strand of tundish becomes consistent, the impacting of liquid on 6-th strand stopper is alleviated, the temperature difference between each strand decreases to 4 K from original 10 K and the continuous casting time increases to 26 h from original 20 h.
