Abstract: The three typical problems of metallurgical quality defects of forged steel cold rolling work rolls, including inclusion exceeding the standard, carbide segregation and surface random defects (DRS), were thoroughly studied and analyzed. By adopting the improved ESR sealing cover and atmosphere protection, the oxygen concentration was around 0.001 0%, and the inclusion exceeding rate was reduced by 4%-5%; Through the improvement of water quality and inlet water temperature by water cooling strengthening of electric slag, achieving a control range of inlet temperature of 15-35 ℃, inlet and outlet water temperature difference of 4-5 ℃, and a qualified rate of liquid carbide segregation was close to 100%; The specification of the ESR ingot was changed by the elongation of the ESR ingot, the DRS qualification rate for surface random defects has increased from 85% to 92%, and the metallurgical quality of the cold rolling roll is effectively improved.

摘要: 对锻钢冷轧工作辊的冶金质量缺陷的夹杂物超标、碳化物偏析及表面随机缺陷(DRS)三个典型问题进行深入研究和剖析。通过采用改进电渣密封罩和电渣气氛保护,氧浓度在0.001 0%左右,夹杂物超标率降低4%~5%;通过电渣水冷强化对水质和进水温度的改善,控制进水温度15~35 ℃,进回水水温差4~5 ℃,液析碳化物偏析合格率接近100%;通过电渣锭细长化改变电渣锭的规格,表面随机缺陷DRS合格率由85%提升至92%,冷轧工作辊冶金质量得到有效改善。
