A Study on Oxygen Contamination from Crucible Material on Molten Steel during Vacuum Induction Melting

真空感应熔炼过程炉衬材料向钢液供氧现象的研究

Abstract: The phenomena of oxygen contamination from crucible materials on molten steel during vacuum melting has been studied by a 50 kg vacuum induction furnace with magnesia crucible and a 25 kg vacuum induction furnace with calcia crucible to reseach the basic law and main factors of oxygen contamination from crucible materials on molten steel. TTie results showed that avoiding oxygen contamination from crucible materials on molten steel during vacuum induction melting was key factor for deep deoxidization of molten steel in extra-low oxygen content range; in 0,5 ~ 10 Pa vacuum melting, with vacuum and temperature of molten steel in bath increasing the oxygen contamination from crucible materials on molten steel increased, and the final oxygen content in steel increased with carbon burning loss of molten steel increasing; the oxygen contamination of molten steel melting with magnesia crucible was more than that with calcia crucible.

摘要: 通过 5 0kg镁砂坩埚和 2 5kg氧化钙砂坩埚真空感应炉进行了真空熔炼过程炉衬耐火材料向钢液供氧试验 ,以研究炉衬耐火材料向钢液供氧的基本规律和影响炉衬向钢液供氧的主要因素。试验结果表明 ,在超低氧范围内对钢液进行深度脱氧时 ,避免炉衬分解对钢液供氧是进一步脱氧的关键 ;在 0 5~ 10Pa的真空下 ,随真空度和熔池钢水温度升高 ,炉衬分解向熔池供氧增加 ,并且钢中最终氧含量随钢液碳烧损量的增加而增加 ;镁砂炉衬向钢液的供氧量大于氧化钙炉衬向钢液的供氧量。
