Operation Practice of High Carbon Chromium Bearing Steel Produced by LD-LF+VD Process

氧气顶吹转炉-LF+VD流程生产高碳铬轴承钢的工艺实践

Abstract: The high carbon bearing steel is produced by 60 t LD-LF+VD-CC flow sheet at Shijiazhuang Steel. The statistical data with 602~2449 heats showed that in LD steelmaking the average end-point carbon was 0. 15% by catch carbon  practice,  the  average  end-point  [P]0.012%  and  the[S]0.034%. After  LF+VD  refining  the  average  oxygen content in  steel was9.4×10-6,and the  Ti  content was 52×10-6,but the  fluctuating range  of [Ti]  and  [O] was relatively large needs to further improve process and operation.

摘要: 石钢采用60t氧气顶吹转炉-LF+VD-CC流程生产高碳铬轴承钢。602炉次至2449炉次的统计数据表明,转炉冶炼时采用高拉碳操作,平均终点碳为0.15%、[P]0.012%、[S]0.034%。LF+VD精炼后,钢中平均氧含量为9.4×10-6,Ti含量为52×10-6,但存在钛、氧含量波动较大,需进一步改善工艺和操作。
