Modification Effect and Mechanism of La-Ce on Inclusions in GCr15 Bearing Steel

La-Ce对GCr15轴承钢中夹杂物的改质效果及机理

Abstract: In order to investigate the effect of Rare Earth La-Ce on the modification of inclusions in GCr15 bearing steel, a high-temperature tube furnace with a nominal capacity of 1 kg was used to smelt 6 heats of GCr15 bearing steel ingots with different La-Ce contents. Characterization methods such as optical microscopy and scanning electron microscopy were used, and the transformation law of inclusions in GCr15 steel at different La-Ce contents was studied using FactSage thermodynamic software. The results show that the typical inclusions in GCr15 bearing steel without adding La-Ce are Al2Oand MnS, and the addition of La-Ce will modify it to more complex Rare Earth inclusions. With the increase of La-Ce content, the transformation law of inclusions in steel at 1 600 ℃ is Al2O3→REAlO3→ RE2O3→ RE2O2S → RE2O2S + RExSy(RE is La、Ce). With the increase of La-Ce content, the density of inclusions and the average aspect ratio in the steel both decrease first and then increase. When the La-Ce content is 96 ×10-6Al2O3 and MnS were both transformed into spherical RE2O2S·RExSycomposite rare earth inclusions. The number of inclusions in the steel was at a low level and the overall morphology of the inclusions was well controlled.

摘要: 为了探究稀土La-Ce对GCr15轴承钢中夹杂物的改质效果,采用了公称容量为1 kg的高温管式炉,冶炼了6炉不同La-Ce含量的GCr15轴承钢钢锭,借助光学显微镜、扫描电镜等表征手段,并结合FactSage热力学软件对不同La-Ce含量的GCr15钢中夹杂物的转化规律进行研究。结果表明,未添加La-Ce的GCr15轴承钢中典型夹杂物为不规则状的Al2O3和MnS,La-Ce的添加会将其改质为类型较为复杂的稀土夹杂物,随着La-Ce含量的提高,1600 ℃下钢中夹杂物的转化规律为Al2O3→REAlO3→ RE2O3→ RE2O2S → RE2O2S + RExSy(RE为La-Ce)。当La-Ce含量为96×10-6时,Al2O3和MnS均被改质为球状的RE2O2S·RExSy复合稀土夹杂物,钢中夹杂物的数量处于较低水平且夹杂物的整体形貌控制较好。
