      摘要:The effect of vacuum, temperature and nitride composition on nitrogen solubility in steel is analyzed and the test of adding nitrogen in alloy steel with various chemical composition (/% : 0. 06 ~0. 36C, ≤3. 23Si, ≤2. 20Al, ≤ 9. 00Cr) by three kinds of nitrides-silicon nitride, manganese nitride and chromium nitride in a 50 kg vacuum induction furnace is carried out. Results show that the effect of nitrogen partial pressure in gas phase on nitrogen solubility in liquid is greatest ; with containing Ti and Cr in steel the nitrogen solubility in steel and yield of nitride increase ; with increasing C content in steel the nitrogen solubility in liquid and yield of nitride decrease ; with containing definite aluminium in steel the yield of nitride obviously increases. With 40 kPa argon pressure at 1 600 ~ 1 650 ℃ , the yield of silicon nitride, manganese nitride and chromium nitride being respective in silicon steel, structural steel and 9% Cr steel is respectively 25% ~ 30% , 30% ~ 50% and 60% ~ 100%.

      摘要:Combined with relative parameters of a 100 t vacuum refining furnace with single snorkel at steel works, the imitated calculation for liquid field in degassing of vacuum refining furnace with single snorkel has been carried out by numerical simulation method to analyze the basic characteristics of liquid flow in furnace with single snorkel, and the effect of blowing position with distance from bottom center 0. 1 ~ 0. 424 m on liquid flow field, liquid circulation rate and mixing time is studied. Results show that for origin argon blowing position (distance from bottom center 0. 424 m) the most argon doesn't enter into snorkel, in order to avoid argon escape, the blowing nozzle distance from bottom center should be ≤ 0. 3 m, with increasing blowing nozzle distance, mixing time of liquid decreases, and combined considering the effect of liquid degassing and life of snorkel, the optimum gas blowing position is at distance from bottom center 0. 25 ~ 0. 3 m.

      摘要:With using Kissinger equation in research field of mold powder, the activation energy for the crystallization of glassy state fluoride free titanium bearing mold powder in heating process (heating rate 5 〜30 K/min) and that for the crystallization of liquid state mold flux in cooling process (cooling rate 5 〜30 K/min) have been studied. Experimental results show that the activation energy E for the crystallization of glassy state flux in heating process is about 52. 75 kJ/mol and the E for the crystallization of liquid state flux in cooling process is about 61. 15 kJ/mol. The peak temperature of crystallization of test glass flux is 915 〜940 K, the glassy state flux film formed in quick cooling process has recrystallization behavior, therefore it should consider both liquid state flux crystallization behavior in cooling process and recrystallization behavior in flux film in mold.

      摘要:Electroslag surfacing with liquid metal ( ESS LM) technology is a new process to be based on current-con- ducting mould with special structure and use liquid metal pouring into the mould to carry out electroslag surfacing clad and get composite roll. The current status and development trend of domestic roll manufacturing industry and the principle and characteristics of electroslag surfacing with liquid metal technology are presented and described. Compared the ESS LM method with centrifugal casting method and casting preparing composite (CPC) method, the advantage and potentiality condition of ESS LM method are analyzed, and the development and application of ESS LM method to produce composite roll are introduced.

    • A Study on 210 t RH Vacuum Degas Process at a Sheet Works

      摘要:RH vacuum degas process test on 45 heats Q345E, Q345GJC and BQ550D etc. steel grades has been carried out by 210 t top and bottom combined blown converter-LF-RH-wide heavy slab CC flow sheet, and the effect of RH vacuum treatment on liquid dehydrogenation, deoxidization and denitriding is studied. It is obtained that with RH vacuum ≤270 Pa, circle blowing argon rate 1 200 〜1 500 L/min, high vacuum treatment for ≥ 10 min the hydrogen content in steel is ≤2 x 10-6and with high vacuum treatment for 16 min the hydrogen, oxygen and nitrogen content in steel are respectively 2 x 10-613. 2 x 10-6and 41.0 x 10-6.

      摘要:The work principle and technology characteristics of developed technology of vibration-excited nucleation in liquid and the treated effect on ingot of metal zinc ingot and 1Cr17 ferrite stainless steel ingot in lab are presented. And the commercial pilot production for application of developed device using the technology of vibration-excited nucleation in liquid for 220 mm x 1 600 mm slab caster on 16Mn series steel grades is carried out. Application results show that for the cast slab non-treated by vibration-excited nucleation the equiaxed zone rate of slab is ≤ 10% with center porosity and segregation rating 1.5, but for the cast slab treated by vibration-excited nucleation the equiaxed zone rate of slab is ≥ 30% with center porosity and segregation rating 0. 5. Analysis shows that for large-scale ingot, application of technology of vibration-excited nucleation in liquid is available to control solidification structure of ingot in line, increase equiaxed zone rate of ingot and improve its inner quality.

      摘要:New LZ45CrV steel blooms (/% : 0. 43C, 0. 27Si, 0. 77Mn, 0. 007P, 0. 005S, 0. 55Cr, 0. 10V, 0. 10Mo) of 260 mm x260 mm and 280 mm x280 mm for heavy load railway axle at daye special steel are pilot-produced by the flow sheet 60 t UHP EBT EAF-LF-VD-6. 5 t ingot-850 primary mill rolling process. With process measures including EAF charging 45% hot metal and quality scrap, controlling end [ C]≥0. 15% and [ P] ≤0.005% , feeding aluminium wire in LF refining to control 0. 035% ~0. 045% Al and VD vacuum treatment m20 min, the oxygen content in LZ45CrV steel bloom is 8. 5 x 10-6rating of nonmetallic inclusions ≤1.0, rating of grain size 7 ~ 8, and the mechanical properties of steel bloom meet the requirement of standard and design.

      摘要:Based on the analysis results of study on performance of high Al2O3(20% ) slag in lab, results show that it is available to improve the flowability of slag, increase permeability index and improve stability of blast furnace ( BF) by controlling basicity of binary slag 1. 15 ~ 1. 20, basicity of quarternary slag 0. 95 ~ 1. 05, controlling MgO content in slag 10. 0% ~ 11. 5% and temperature of slag 1 500 ~ 1 510 ℃ , and the corresponding measures for smelting by high Al2O3slag are proposed including adding serpentine, conditioning upper and lower parts and controlling charging crude fuel to ensure BF stability run and increase technical-economic indexes.

      摘要:Production flow sheet for 1 550 mm x230 mm slab of steel A36 bearing B (/% : 0. 16 ~0. 20C, 0. 10 ~0.25Si, 0. 20 〜0.40Mn, ≤0.030P, ≤0. 015S, 0. 010 〜0. 030Al, 0. 015 ~0. 025Ti, 0.001 0 ~0.001 8B) is hot metal pretreatment-210 t BOF-ladle argon blowing-LF-CC process. With the process measures including controlling [C] ≥ 0. 16% , increasing basicity of mold powder from 1. 23 to 1. 27 and decreasing its viscosity from 0. 165 pa • s to 0. 123 pa • s, decreasing negative shrip time from 0. 22 s to 0. 15 s as casting speed 1. 0 m/min, decreasing mold and cooling water rate of slab edge at straightening zone, improving accuracy of caster arc and roller gap, the comer transverse cracks are effectively reduced and the grinding rate decreases from original 0. 18% to 0. 03%.

      摘要:0. 153Ti-0. 038Nb and 0. 080Ti-0. 062Nb two kind of Ti-Nb microalloying low carbon steel (/% : 0. 061 ~ 0. 075C, 0. 22Si, 1.76 〜1.77Mn, 0. 002 〜0. 003S, 0. 006P, 0.003Als, 0.003 8 ~0. 004 2N, 0.004 0 ~0. 004 50) are melted by a 50 kg vacuum induction furnace and rolled to 10 mm plate with finishing rolling at 880 ℃ , water cooling to 630 ℃.Test results show that the precipitates in both Ti-Nb microalloying steels are ( Nb, Ti) ( C, N) compound precipitates; with increasing Ti content from 0. 080% to 0. 153% and decreasing Nb content from 0. 062% to 0. 038% , the yield and tensile strength of steel respectively increase from 558 MPa and 653 MPa to 633 MPa and 756 MPa, besides, the variations in ratio between yield and tensile strength, elongation and reduction of area of steels are minor. It indicates the strength of steel products could be increased by adding Ti to replace part of Nb to carry out compound microalloying and the production cost is decreased.

      摘要:The test H beam steel (/% : 0. 11C, 0. 25Si, 1.50Mn, 0. 006S, 0. 012P, 0. 038Nb) is melted by a 30 kg vacuum induction furnace and rolled to 15 mm plate. The continuous cooling transformation (CCT) curves of H-section steel 0. 11 C-0. 25Si,1. 50Mn-0. 038Nb are plotted by thermal dilatation curves at cooling rate 0. 1 ~ 100 ℃/s measured using Formastor-F hot simulation machine and combined with metallographic examination. It is obtained that with cooling rate ≤10 ℃ , the steel has ferrite + pearlite structure, with cooling rate ≥20 ℃/s, the steel has upper bainite structure and with cooling rate 100 ℃/s, the structure of steel is martensite + minor bainite.

      摘要:The recrystallization structure and textures of an IF steel (/% : 0. 005C, 0. 02Si, 0. 16Mn, 0. 011P, 0. 004S, 0. 042Als, 0. 061 Ti, 0. 003 1N) 0. 8 mm cold-rolled sheet during annealing at 500 ~800 ℃ are studied and the forming mechanism of {111} recrystallization textures and evolution law of structure of IF steel during batch annealing process are analyzed by X-ray diffraction technique combined with microstructure observation. Results show that with increasing annealing temperature the recrystallized volume increases, the real recrystallization temperature of test steel is 640 ℃ , and with increasing annealing temperature the density of {111}  recrystallized textures gradually increases, the {111} oriented grains mainly form during recrystallizing process and during growing process of the {111} oriented grains, the transfer between γ fiber textures occurs, it is mainly from {111} < 112 > texture transfers to {111} < 110 > texture.

      摘要:The oxidation resistance of a new high silicon austenite heat resistant stainless steel TD305B (/% : 0. 05C, 3. 30Si, 0. 80Mn, 19. 50Cr, 13. 30Ni, 0. 05N) and a traditional heat resistant stainless steel SUS310S (/% : 0. 05C, 0. 60Si, 0. 80Mn, 24. 60Cr, 19. lONi, 0. 05N) at 500 〜1 000 ℃ air atmosphere has been studied by weight gain method, and an analysis on morphology of surface oxide film of sample is carried out by scanning electron microscope and energy dispersive X-ray spectrometer (EDS). It is found that at 700 〜1 000℃ the oxidation resistance of the new high silicon heat resistant steel TD305B is better than that of the traditional heat resistant austenite steel SUS310S, besides at elevated temperature the matrix of steel easily reacts with oxygen to form a protective oxide film including FeO • Cr2O3and FeCr2O4- NiCr2O4because the new steel TD3O5B has a definite amount silicon, a layer of SiO2is formed at distance of 20 μm from surface to inhibit further oxidation, as a result the steel TD3O5 B has a better oxidation resistance at elevated temperature.

    • Structure and Mechanical Properties of AH36 Steel Opened Plate for Ship

      摘要:The production process flow sheet of steel AH36 for ship is 120 t BOF-LF-220/250 mm slab casting-2250 mm mill rolling. The analysis and comparison on mechanical properties o£ the 10 ~ 24 mm opened plate of AH36 steel for ship (/% : 0. 07C, 0. 26Si, 1. 24Mn, 0. 014P, 0.006S, 0.031 Als, 0. 028Nb, ≤0. 290Ceq) produced by CSP control rolling process and new shearing process and the traditional 10 ~24 mm medium plate of AH36 steel for ship (% : 0. 13C, 0. 28Si, 1. 26Mn, 0. 024P, 0. 014S, 0. 038Als, 0. 024Nb, ≤0. 363Ceq) have been carried out. Results show that the mechanical properties of opened plate of 0. 07 % C AH36 steel for ship is up to the index of mechanical properties of traditional medium plate of 0. 13% C AH36 steel for ship, and the tough-brittle transition temperature -60 °C of 0. 07% C AH36 opened plate for ship is lower than that - 40 ℃ of traditional 0. 13% C AH36 steel medium plate for ship. As compared with traditional 0. 13% C AH36 steel the 0. 07% C AH36 steel has better workability and higher size stability.

    • Precipitation Behavior of Titanium Nitride in Alloy Ni30Cr20

      摘要:Test alloy Ni30Cr20 (/% : 0.035 〜0.045C, 0.28 ~0. 30Si, 0. 73 〜0. 75Mn, 0. 005 ~0. 007P, 0. 001 ~ 0. 002S, 19.40~ 19. 93Cr, 29. 75 ~30.35Ni, 0. 30 〜0. 36A1, 0. 03 〜0. 88Ti, 0.005 7 ~0,0205N) is melted by 150kg vacuum induction furnace to cast ingot with size (mm) 120 x230 x500. The calculation on thermodynamics conditions of TiN precipitation in alloy Ni30Cr20 during solidification process is carried out and the amount, size and distribution of TiN in ingot of the alloy are analyzed by optical microscope, scanning electron microscope (SEM) and energy dispersive spectrometer (EDS). Test results show that part titanium nitride has been precipitated in liquid alloy including single TiN and TiN containing of MgO・Al2O3MgO and TiO2etc. nucleus. The amount of titanium nitride decreases and their size increases gradually from edge to center of ingot. Calculation results show that it is available to the amount and size of precipitated TiN by controlling the titanium-nitrogen product less than 3. 70 x 10-4while to decrease nitrogen content in alloy is a efficient measure to decrease the amount of precipitation and size of titanium nitride.

      摘要:As the quenched crawler belt manufactured by steel 40SiMn2, 35MnTiB and 30MnTiB ( C≥030% ) easily occurs micro-cracks that doesn' t meet the requirement of anti-fracture behavior, while the hardenability HRC J1.542. 5 〜 49. 0 and J13.017. 5 ~ 37. 0 of produced steel 23MnB (/% : 0.20 - 0. 27C, 0. 80 〜1. 10Mn, ≤0. 20Cr, 0:0005 〜 0. 003 0B) can't meet the requirement of hardenability HRC J1.544 ~ 55 and J13.0≥35 for 228 pitch crawler belt, by 150 kg medium induction furance test and 120t BOF-LF-RH-CC-rolling pilot commercial production it is obtained that as adjusted composition of steel is (/% ) 0. 24 ~0. 30C, 1. 10 ~ 1. 50Mn, 0. 20 ~ 0. 50Cr, 0. 000 5 ~0. 003 0B, the steel hardenability HRC J1.5=48. 0 ~ 50. 0, J13.0=42. 5 〜46. 5, it meets the requirements of hardenability and anti-fracture behavior for 228 pitch crawler belt.

      摘要:The phase transformation and structure of rough rolled slab (36 mm x 1 500 mm) of steel WL510 (/% : 0. 090C, 0. 13Si, 1.45Mn, 0. 005S, 0. 019P, 0. 040Al, 0. 020Ti, 0. 030Nb) during continuous cooling with 1 〜36 ℃/s have been studied by a Thermecmastor-Z thermal mechanical simulator, and the continuous cooling transformation (CCT) curves are measured by thermal dilatometer method. Results show that at low cooling rate 1 ~ 23 °C/s, polygonal ferrite and minor pearlite are mainly formed in test steel WL510; as the cooling rate ≥30 ℃/s, the main structure in test steel is fine acicular ferrite, minor fine pearlite and martensite/austenite islands. With increasing cooling rate, the structure of test steel is finer.

    • A Study on Dynamic Recrystallization of Austenite Stainless Steel 321

      摘要:The dynamic recrystallization of steel 321 (/% : 0. 028C, 0. 69Si, 1. 21Mn, 0. 030P, 0. 001S, 17. 33Cr, 9. 19Ni, 0. 31Ti) has been studied by single pass hot compression with 0. 01 ~ 1 s-1at 900 ~ 1 200 ℃ oh a Gleeble-1500 thermal simulation machine. Results show that with higher deformation temperature and lower strain rate, the softening effect of steel 321 is stronger; generally there is no obvious peak stress at hot deformation true stress-true strain curves ; with strain rate 0. 01, 0. 1 and Is-1, the temperature of initial dynamic recrystallization for steel 321 is respectively 1 050 °C , 1 150 ℃ and 1 150 ℃,and as deforming at 1 200the partial dynamic recrystallization only occurs in steel. The activation energy Q for dynamic recrystallization in hot deformation process of steel 321 is 422. 72 kJ/mol, the dynamic recrystallization Z parameter is εexp[422 720/ (RT) ] and critical strain εc=0.035 67Z0.066 04.
