      摘要:It is obtained by analysis that the surface defects of the bars are formed before heating the continuous casting billet and related to the mold meniscus fluxes. Thermo-Calc software is used to calculate the solidification phase transition of 15CrMoG steel and the formation mechanism of surface defects for 15CrMoG steel bars are analyzed. The occurrence of peritectic reaction( L+δ→γ) and peritectic transformation ( δ→γ) near the solidus temperature of 15CrMoG steels lead to the uneven growth of the initial solidified shell and intensified the segregation of P and S elements at the solidification front. Uneven growth of the initial solidified shell is the primary cause of surface defects for the bars. Fine longitudinal cracks is generated in the weakness of the shell, and grow in the place where inclusions and sulphur gathered. Surface clefts is caused by slag inclusions in casting blanks which caused by mold level fluctuation rooted in uneven growth of the initial solidified shell. By the measures including to control [C]0.16% ~0.17% ,[S] ≤0.005% ,shielding slag basicity 1.2, slag melting point 1200℃ and viscosity 1.0Pa·s, water rate of 260 mm x 300 mm cast bloom 150 m3/h, and casting speed 0. 5 m/min, the non -destructive test qualified rate increases from original 45% to 98% .

    • Hot Deformation Behavior of 00Cr26Mo4 Super Ferritic Stainless Steel

      摘要:The hot deformation behavior of 00Ci26Mo4 super ferritic stainless steel is studied by the isothermal compression of cylindrical specimens at 1050 ~ 1250°C with the strain rate of 0. 1 ~ 10 s" high temperature compress experiment on Gleeble-3500 simulated machine. By the thermo mechanical parameters of steel simulated by using power function/ exponential function/hyperbolic sine mathematics model, the corresponding hot deformation constitutive is established. The results show that in hot compression process the flow stress decreases with the increase of deformation temperature and in¬creases with the increase of strain rate, and there is no well-defined peak stress in the flow-stress curves. The softening mechanism of 00Cr26Mo4 steel is only dynamic recovery. The constitutive correlation of power fiinction/exponential function/hyperbolic sine mathematics model with 00Cr26Mo4 steel is studied, the results show that the hyperbolic sine mathematics model accords with the rules of the flow stress strain curve of 00Cr26Mo4 super ferritic stainless steel, and using hyperbolic sine mathematics model the 00Cr26Mo4 constitutive equation is established, to get the calculated activation energy of deformation 238. 836 kJ/mol.

    • Research Progress of Second Phase in Oriented Silicon Steel

      摘要:The present research status of the second phase such as MnS, AIN and Cu2S is summarized. The types of the second phase in oriented silicon steel and its selection conditions are introduced. The mechanism of the inhibition of the second phase particles and the effect mechanism of Ostwald coarsening on second phase particles are described. The influence of phase particles on magnetic susceptibility and iron loss of different second relative orientation silicon steels is summarized. It is proposed that the combination of short-flow process and low-solution temperature second phase will be the first choice for producing high-end products.

      摘要:The control rolling and cooling test of ferrite-bainite dual phase steel (/% :0. 22C,0. 47Si,2. 50Mn, 0.05Al,0.02Nb,0.41 Cu) with finishing rolling at 800 ~860 ℃. is carried out by aΦ450mm mill in laboratory. The results show that a microstructure containing ferrite, bainite, martensite and retained austenite in test steel can be obtained ;the ferrite grains are refined with decreasing finish rolling temperature and accelerating cooling;the amount of retained austenite is 11.4% when the steel finished rolling at 800 °C and subsequent laminar cooled to 560 ℃. and then air cooled to room temperature to contribute a lot to comprehensive properties of strength and toughness, its mechanical properties are UI Rm1131 MPa,Rp0.2/Rm 0.61,RmxA5018096 MPa · %

      摘要:Coal fired power plants use high temperature and high pressure steam to make electricity. With the steam parameter improved to ultra-super critical, the steam oxidation becomes much more serious. Heat resistant steels for coal- fired power plants mainly include low alloy heat resistant steels,9% Cr martensitic heat resistant steels and 18Cr-8Ni austenitic heat resistant steels. In this paper, the steam-oxidation behavior of the three kinds of heat-resistant steels is reviewed, and the kinetics and the structure characteristics of the oxide scale are introduced. The methods of improving steam oxidation resistance are summarized. The methods for avoiding possible oxidation problems in service exposure of the three kinds of materials are suggested

      摘要:In order to optimize composition and hot-rolling cooling process of 82B to improve strength of 82B wire rod, the influence of isothermal transformation temperature of steel 80 and steel 82B on phase transformation time and pearlite interlamellar spacing and the influence of Cr content on phase transformation temperature are tested, and the influence of Cr- alloying and phase transformation control on microstructure and tensile strength of 82B wire rod is analyzed. The phase transformation speed of 82B is the most fast at 595 -615 °C, with transformation time for 10 〜15 s,and an idea pearlite interlamellar spacing o£ 0. 10 ~0. 20 μm is gotten at 590 ~625 °C. The temperature scope and transformation speed of phase transformation of steel 82B could be controlled by adding 0.18% _0. 24% Cr and controlling hot-rolling cooling speed so as to obtain pearlite microstructure with uniform thin interlamellar spacing. The main components of Φ12.5 mm steel 82B wire rod are modified to 0.78% ~0.84 %C,0.15% ~0.35 % Si ,0.78% ~0.88 % Mn and 0. 18% ~0.24 % Cr. In hot- rolling cooling process, with weakened water cooling,strengthened forced air cooling, laying temperature of 82B wire rod at 840 ~ 880 °C(aiming at 860 °C ) , and increasing forced air cooling speed of 82B wire rod, the strength of the wire rod is improved.

      摘要:With using the process measures including increasing the return ratio and miniaturizing the burden, con¬trolling the start-blowing oxygen temperature, heating rate and end-point temperature, modifying the high melting point and low basicity slag series to high basicity of CaO/ SiO21.4 ~2.5 and low melting point 45.6 ~ 53.6 CaO-21.6 ~ 32.0 SiO2- 3 ~ 13 Cr2O3-5 - 10 MgO-5 ~ 10 Al2O3-0 ~5 CaF2slag series, and reasonable power supply system the tap to tap time of stainless steel is shortened by 30 minutes per heat, the power consumption is reduced by 75 kWh/t, the electrode consumption is reduced by 1. 89 kg/t, the furnace life is increased by 64 heats, and the content of Cr2O3in slag is reduced to 6% 〜 12%

      摘要:Composition of LF Slag System CaO 50%~58%、Al2O3 27%~35%、SiO2≤10%、MgO≤10%、(TFe+MnO)≤1.0%;,MI range 0. 25 ~ 0. 30, R range 8 ~ 9. 5, ( CaO)/( A12O3) range 1. 6 ~ 1. 9, Als content is 0. 010% ~ 0. 020%. The LF slag system has good desulfurization effect and quick slag formation. Without pretreatment of hot metal, it can meet the requirement of producing S≤15 X 10-6ultra-low sulphur pipeline steel L245NCS

      摘要:According to the Φ1422 mm pipe production requirements of the China-Russia eastern oil and gas pipeline X80M and the 5300 mm wide and thick plate production line process equipment characteristics, the complete industrialized manufacturing technology for low temperature pipeline steel has been successfully developed by means of alloy design with extra-wide and extra-thick steel plates,as well as the refinement of microstructure and TMCP fine control at Nanjing Iron and Steel Co Ltd. In order to improve the low temperature toughness of the steel 30. 8 mm plate, the 320 mm slab is rolled by turn-spread, and the spread rolling is carried out by 3 passes, and the reduction with 80 mm is performed. After widening, the longitudinal rolling is carried out, and the reduction at per pass is more than 22 mm. The steel plate enters ultra-fast cooling for cooling. The cooling temperature is set at 740 ~ 750 °C , and the final cooling temperature is 430 ~ 450 °C. The cryogenic pipeline is produced, and its microstructure is uniform and fine acicular ferrite with high strength and good low temperature toughness.

      摘要:Research and production process of high strength weather-resisitant H-beam steel Q355NHE at Jinxi are in- trduced in this paper, the key process in production process is analyzed and discussed. By the process measures including to control chemical composition carbon 0.06% ~0. 10% ,nickel chromium ratio(Ni/Cr) 0. 35 ~0.45,water flow of continuous casting mould down by 10% , water ratio of second colling 0.70 L/kg,stable continuous casting cycle 35 ~40 min,heating time in the furnace less than or equal to 150 min, carried out hot rolling control process of niobium microalloying steel, etc. the surface depress and crack of CC beam-blank and bloom are relievd, amount of large size class C Inclusions in steel is reduced and surface checking of weather-resistant H-beam steel is eliminated to guarantee -40 ℃ low temperature impact energy is more than standard requirement 27 J, average value is 156 J.

      摘要:The cracking is appeared at bending 430 stainless steel pickling plate. In order to find out the cause o£ cracking, chemical composition analysis, mechanical properties test, metallographic analysis and crack analysis on the specimen have been carried out. The results show that the bending cracking of 430 stainless steel pickling plate is caused by the heterogeneity of grain size in matrix and the aggregation of precipitated corbide on grain boundary, which accelerated crack propagation along the grain boundary and led to bending cracking of products. It is proved that the abnormal microstructure is introduced by the longer annealing period of 430 stainless steel pickling plate at higher temperature. With control of annealing parameters of 430 stainless cold-rolling plate: annealing of 1#heating section at 840 〜850 ℃ and 2#heating section at 870 ~900 ℃. for 130 ~ 140 s in annealing process,the bending cracks of plate is avoided

      摘要:According to the applied characteristics of X70 pipeline steel with hydrogen sulfide corrosion resistance, the technical ideas of low carbon, ultra-low sulfur, ultra-low phosphorus and controlled Mn content are used to control the number and shape of MnS inclusions, as well as dendritic segregation and center segregation of casting blank. Through controlled rolling and cooling experiment in laboratory, the effects of various finishing temperatures and final cooling temperatures on the microstructure and performance are analyzed. The experiment results show that, with finishing rolling at 820 ℃ or 840 ℃,the microstructure of quasi-polygonal ferrite + granular bainite can be obtained, with the decrease of finishing temperature, grain size decreases ; with the decrease of coiling temperature, the content of granular bainite increases. Based on the experiment results, the industrial production plan is determined, and the trial production has been completed. The experiment results show that, with finishing rolling at 820 ℃. and coiling at 400℃, the product with microstructure of quasi polygonal ferrite + granular bainite can be obtained, it shows excellent comprehensive performance, the anti-HIC sensitivity is 0, and the anti-SSCC performance is not invalid.

    • Effect of Sub-Zero Treatment on Performance of High Speed Steel W6Mo5Cr4V2

      摘要:Effect of sub-zero treatment at -120°C. and -150°C on properties of high speed steel W6Mo5Cr4V2 is studied by means of hardness and wear resistance tests. The microstructure and wear morphology are analyzed by means of scanning electron microscope (SEM). It is concluded that the hardness and wear resistance of the high speed steel increase by sub-zero treatment. With the sub-zero temperature decrease, the performance of high speed steel improves significantly. The performance of cycle sub-zero treatment sample is better than a long time sub-zero treatment sample. After sub-zero treatment for 3 times 1 h at -150 °C ,the high speed steel can obtain the optimal comprehensive performance. The results show that the significant performance improvement of high speed steel is attributed to the transformation of retained austenite to martensite in the samples after sub-zero treatment. At the same time, the wear resistance performance improved is attributed to that a large amount of carbides precipitate from high speed steel work as the rigid particles during the friction and wear process. There is super-cooling degree that continuously exists during the cycle cryogenic treatment process. The transformation of retained austenite to martensite and the tiny carbides precipitated from matrix martemsite can be promoted by super-cooling each cycle to improve the performance of the high speed steel.

      摘要:Effect of solution-treated at 900 - 1250℃ on microstructure of steel duplex stainless S32003 has been studied by metallographic, scanning electron microscopy ( SEM) , transmission electron microscopy (TEM) observation and X-ray energy dispersive spectroscopy(EDS) analysis. The results show that the nitride precipitates in steel at 900℃ , in order to dissolve nitride of hot rolling steel, solution temperature must be up to 950 °C ; With the increase of solution temperature , phase content in steel increases α and γ phase content decreases. The optimum solution temperature is 1040℃; As the solution temperature increase, the grain size of α and γ phase is gradually growing up, the grain is obvious coarsening when the temperature is greater than 1100 °C.

      摘要:W2Mo9Cr4VCo8 (AISI M42) super-hard high-speed steel wires (Φ5.2 mm,Φ4.96 mm) are treated by intermediate annealing, furnace-cooling annealing and phase-transformation annealing, and the effect of different microstructure factors on work hardening and plasticity of M42 is studied. The result shows that dislocation density, submicron carbide and ferritic grain size play different roles in work hardening and plastic instability of M42 high-speed steel. Intermediate annealing at 800°C and furnace-cooling annealing at 860°C can significantly reduce the ferrite dislocation density, restore the work hardening ability to some extent, and improve the plasticity of M42 steel. By contrast, austenitizing at 860°C followed by isothermal annealing at 750°C can obtain a large number of submicron carbides embedded in fine ferritic grains with a very low dislocation density, which is available to enhance work hardening rate and increase elongation of steel M42 to 20%.
