      摘要:A model for the study of hot strip rolling of Q345 is proposed, and the approach is based on thermo-mechanical analysis using the Finite-Element Method (FEM ). To assess the rolling behavior of materials during a pass, finite element program Abaqus/Explicit has been employed and the hot rolling process was modeled in three dimensions. The appropriate models for heat transfer mechanisms are considered and the temperature distribution along the rolled strip and the temperature variation during hot strip rolling process is predicted. The effects of various process parameters such as rolling speed(90 ~210 i/min) , Higher rolling speeds result in lower temperatures in the deformed metal;amount of thickness reduction(5% ~ 15% ) , higher reductions result in lower surface and strip center temperatures;initial thickness of the strip (115 ~345 mm) ,the smaller the size of the area affected by the thermal deformation in the larger plate thickness and interface heat transfer coefficient [30 ~50 W/(m2· K) ]. As the heat transfer coefficient increases, the surface temperature and center temperature of the strip decrease, are considered.

      摘要:The tundish flow control device affects the flow state of molten steel in the tundish and the uniformity of molten steel temperature, which determines whether the molten steel can be cast steadily with high quality. Based on the prototype of a 17 t double-flow tundish in a steel plant, the model is established with the ratio of 1: 2 to the actual tundish. Through orthogonal water simulation experiment and mathematical simulation of temperature field, the optimal combination of tundish flow control devices under the consideration of temperature is obtained as follows: the distance between weir and bottom of the tundish is 260 mm, the height of the dam is 360 mm, the distance between weir and nozzle is 580 mm, and the distance between dam and nozzle is 1 170 mm.

      摘要:The hot deformation and microstructure evolution of as-cast S32750 super duplex stainless steel (/% : 0.017C,0.53Si,0.93Mn,0. 023P,0. 001S,25. 58Cr,7. 00Ni,4. 03Mo,0. 28N) are investigated at different temperatures (950 〜1200℃ ),strain rates (0.1 ~ 25 /s) and strain (1) by Gleeble-3800 thermo-mechanical simulator. The results shows that the hot deformation behavior of S32750 was considerably affected by temperature and strain rate. The flow curves exhibit particularly yield-point-elongation-like effect at temperatures of 950 ~ 1050℃  and strain rate of 0.1/s, which is characterized by a non-strengthening plateau during the initial stages of plastic deformation. The flow curves show the dynamic recrystallization characteristic at temperatures of 1100 ~ 1200 °C or at strain rates 10 /s、25 /s. It is found that dynamic recrystallization occurs in ferrite at different deformation conditions. Whereas austenite undergoes dynamic recovery at 950℃ and dynamic recrystallization at 1200 °C , and the strain rate has a minimal effect on the microstructure evolution of austenite;when the deformation temperature is 1050℃,the strain rate plays an important role in the softening process,the austenite undergoes dynamic recovery at strain rate of 0. 1/s and dynamic recrystallization at 10 /s.

      摘要:The causes of hard spot defects in cutting process of 20CrMnTiH gear steel Φ120 mm product were systematically analyzed by metallographic microscopy, scanning electron microscopy and energy dispersive spectrometer. The results show that the main cause of hard spot defects in gear steel sawing process is the aggregation of large inclusions of 30 ~ 80μm in gear steel round bar. The main inclusions are Al2O3inclusions and TiN inclusions. By controlling the dissolved oxygen content of 120 t converter tapping steel less than 200 X 10 ~6, adjusting the parameters of calcium and aluminium (0.015% -0.025% Al,0.001 5% ~0.0020%Ca) at refining end point,reducing nitrogen absorption during continuous casting, decreasing casting liquid temperature from 1535°C to 1525 °C and optimizing secondary cooling water to accelerate the solidification of steel, the hard point defect in 20CrMnTiH gear steel produced by converter is eliminated.

      摘要:The production process of non-quenched-tempered steel 38MnVS6 (/% :0.36 ~ 0.40C ,0.50 ~ 0.65Si, 1.30~1.45Mn,  ≤ 0.020P, 0.045 ~0.065S, 0.10 ~0.30Cr, 0.015 ~0.030A1, ≤0.05Mo, 0.08 ~0.12V, 0.013 ~0. 019N, 0.015 ~0.025Ti) is 60 t LD-LF-VD-CC-Roll process. In order to produce 80 mm bars, the following methods would be used. The LD end point [C] is control above at 0. 01% together with [P] below at 0.015%. The basicity of LF refining slag and Al2O3content are controlled at 3.0 ~ 4. 0 and 20% ~25% respectively. The S line would be fed after VD treatment to ensure [S] controlled at 0. 055% into molten steel. The low basicity mould fluxes (R = 0. 65) has been used in continuous casting process. It is necessary to controlled final temperature of rolling steel at 900 °C , and the 080 mm bar should be slowly cooled after rolling. Through the detection and analysis of 38MnVS6 bar, it was found that class A inclusions (thickness series) is grade 1.5,and the rating of center porosity is 1.5,and the grain size is grade 7. The performance of bar product is very good.

      摘要:For the high carbon SWRH82B steel strand drawing wire tip break and net carbon over standard defect,we studied the mechanism of carbon segregation in the center of 180 mm x 180 mm high carbon steel SWRH82B billet. The superheat extent of molten steel, casting speed, finished electromagnetic stirring and two-stage cooling water strength were analyzed. The results show that the relationship between carbon segregation and superheat of steel SWRH82B in 180 mm X 180 mm section is y = 1.0929 - 0.008x + 3. 1069 x 10-4x2superheatand the optimum process parameter for controlling carbon segregation is superheat extent 20 ~30 °C , the pulling speed is 1.4 m/min, the terminal electromagnetic stirring current is 400 A frequency 10 Hz and the weak cooling ratio 0.4 L/kg of second cooling wate is adopted.

      摘要:Center segregation of continuous casting slab is the main cause to form banding structure in fine blanked steel. Dynamic soft reduction technique is an effective measure to improve the center segregation of continuous casting slab. In this paper,final solidifying end of 230 mm continuous casting slab can be accurately determined by rivet pin shooting experiment improvement of soft reduction process. The center segregation of representative fine blanked steel was beyond M2.4 of Manesman standard before improvement of soft reduction process ( at zone 9 and 10, total reduction 7. 5 mm). The result of rivet pin shooting experiment is the reference of parameter of dynamic soft reduction. With the parameter optimizing of soft reduction (at zone 8 and 9, total reduction 10 mm) , center segregation of continuous casting slab can be controled within M2. 0 of Manesman standard. Banding structure in fine blanked steel can also be controled effectively.

      摘要:The investigation was carried out on the process of 0. 30mm grain-oriented silicon steel (/% :0.03 ~ 0.05C、3.0~3.2Si、0.18〜0.24Mn、0.005 ~0.012S、0.006 ~0.011N、0.012 ~0. 024Als、0. 4 ~ 0. 55Cu) produced by low-temperature slab heating technology, in which the inhibitor of Cu2S + AIN was used and the two-stage cold rolling technology with completing decarburization in the intermediate thickness of cold sheet was used too. It is proved that when the heating temperature is 1220 〜1300℃,the magnetic induction increases as well as the core loss decreases with increasing Als and N in the range of Als (/% ) 0. 01 ~ 0. 022 and N (/% ) 0. 007 ~ 0. 011, and the ratio of qualified products is higher. The second cold rolling rate within 55% -60% (i. e. the thickness after first rolling being 0.65 ~0.70 mm) guarantees the uniform primary grains and proper quantities of Goss crystal nucleus. Temperature, time and thickness affect on decarburation remarkably,while the effect of atmosphere and temperature of water for adding wet is light. In addition, the recovery annealing make for little contribution to improve magnetic properties. The most proper process is heating at 1290 ℃, hot rolling at 1160 °C , finishing temperature at 930 ~ 960 °C , second cold rolling rate within 55% ~ 60% , intermediate decarburization temperature at 840 ~ 850°C , water temperature for adding wet at 65 ℃, annealing atmosphere with 20% H2+ 80% N2annealing for 8 〜9 minutes based on thickness, and the recovery annealing process can be removed.

      摘要:According to the service conditions and application requirements of the pipe for the support system of the jack-up drilling platform the chemical composition of X100QO steel heavy-walled pipe has been designed. The Φ406 mm X 45 mm X100QO large-diameter heavy-walled seamless steel pipe is produced by process of "70 t EAF→ LF + VD→CCM Φ460 mm round billet—>ASSEL rolling一quenching and tempering''. By control of purity of steel and dimensional accuracy of tube in production process, according to the test results the quenching temperature is 950°C , water cooling, tempering temperature is 530°C , air cool process. The test results show that the seamless pipe has high strength, excellent impact toughness and good welding performance, fully meets the design and use requirements of the pipe for the support system of the jack-up drilling platform, and has passed the certification of ABS American Classification Society.

      摘要:Sulfur resistant pipeline steel is mainly used in the processing of petroleum and natural gas pipeline. It requires high strength and toughness of steel, anti hydrogen induced cracking(HIC) , anti sulfide stress corrosion cracking (SSC) and welding performance. Combining with the practice of Shi-Gang Jing-Cheng Equipment Development and Manufacturing Co Ltd, the role and influence of each element in steel have been analyzed, and the production practice of sulfur resistant pipeline steel KS30 is introduced. With molten iron P≤O.120% and S≤O.050% , optimizing raw materials and accessories, the sulfur resistant pipeline steel KS30 with P≤O.010% ,S≤O.0015% and O≤O.0012% is produced. The ability of anti-HIC and anti-SSC of rolled steel is all qualified.

      摘要:The causes of outer fold defects of 0. 20% C steel pipe are studied by means of pickling, morphology observation and metallographic examination. The results show that the subsurface blowholes and pinholes defects of the continuous casting billet lead to the longitudinal cracks on the surface of the round steel, which are the direct causes of the outer fold defects of the steel pipe. By increasing the acid-soluble aluminum content from 0.006% ~ 0.010% to 0.010% ~ 0. 020% , controlling casting speed (1.8 ± 0.03 ) m/min and superheates extent 15 ~30℃ , and increasing the temperature of Rotary hearth furnace from 1250 ℃ to 1270 ℃ etc improvement measures, the first qualified steel rate of the 0.20% C steel piercing pipe is increased from 47. 01% to above 96%.

      摘要:The mechanism of fine crack at narrow faces of slab of HSLA steel (/% :0.16 ~ 0.18C, 0.20 ~0.40Si, 1.42 ~1.55Mn, ≤ 0.025P, ≤0.012S, ≤ 0.015 ~ 0.025Nb, 0.100 ~0.115V, 0.0100 ~ 0.0150N) was analyzed and researched by the means of metallographic analysis. The results show that the mechanism of fine crack is unreasonable microstructure of surface of slab narrow faces, such as coarse austenite grain, as well as formation of pre-eutetoid ferrite film and segregation of the second phase particle at the austenite grain boundaries. By optimization of cooling process i. e. increasing narrow face cooling water rate by 35% ,the austenite grains are fine, the formation of ferrite film is suppressed and the participation of second phase particle is changed as well as the surface structure of slab is improved, the defect of fine crack at narrow faces of slab is eliminated.

      摘要:The impact test of room temperature to 100℃ of 2. 3% Si non-oriented silicon steel normalized at 900 ~ 950℃ were carried out,and the fracture morphologies were observed by Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM). Effects of normalizing temperature on impact toughness of 2.3% Si non-oriented silicon steel are investigated. The results show that with increasing normalizing temperature, at room temperature the ductile fracture of test steel gradually changed into brittle fracture, the impact energy of steel decreases from 21.4 J to 12.2 J, at 100℃ the impact energy of test steel normalized at 900 ~ 950℃ is 28.4 ~ 33. 2 J with ductile fracture. The inclusions at impact fracture of normalized steel are main AIN.

    • Study on Non-quenched and Tempered Steel C38 + N for Automobile

      摘要:Non-quenched and tempered steel C38 + N for automobile can be used into not only crank shaft materials, but also produced engine connecting rods. By optimizing chemical composition (/% :0.36 ~ 0.40C ,0.50 ~ 0.65Si, 1.40 ~ 1.55Mn,0.10 ~0.20Cr,0.015 ~0.020N,0.020 ~0.035S, ≤ 0.025P,0.003 ~0.015Al) and by feeding S wire to control sulfur content in steel etc, measures, the mechanical properties of steel C38 + N are Rp 0.2506 ~ 544 MPa Rm 854 ~ 879 MPa,A 12% ~23.5% and Z 26% - 30% to meet the requirement of standard.

      摘要:In order to meet the user requirement to derease the hardness of 18Cr2Vi4WA steel Φ 60 mm product i. e. HBW hardness value ≤269 ,the tempering test at 630 〜750 °C for 5 h, furnace cooling to 500 °C ,air cooling have been tested by bottom roller annealing furnace and by the help of metalloscope to analyze annealing shape of 18Cr2Ni4WA steel with different temperature. The result show that 18Cr2Ni4WA tempering hardness is connected with temperature, with the increase of annealing temperature, the hardness dacreases first and then increases. When tempering temperature is 670°C ,the HBW average hardness of steel products is the lowest( adout HBW238 ) and the structure is uniform spheroidized pearlite.

      摘要:The hot rolled and annealed nitrogen bearing martensitic stainless steel 420U6 (/% :0. 16C, 13. 63Cr, 0. 083N) was cold rolled by a 4-high reversable cold rolling mill with the cold rolling reductions 10% ~ 90% , and the effect of cold rolling reduction on microstructure and mechanical properties of the steel was studied. The results show that the number of the caibides considerably increases from 0. 1 X 106/mm2 at the initial annealed state to 2, 35 X 106/mm2 at the 90% cold rolled state, while the average diameter of the carbides decreases from 1.11 μm to 0. 22μm  and the distribution of the cariaides become more evenly. Additionally, hardness and yield strength hugely increases from 170 HV and 335 MPa in the initial annealed state to 325 HV and 1 108 MPa at the 90% cold rolled state respectively, while the elongation reduces sharply when cold rolling reduction increases from 0% to 40% , after which the elongation gradually stabilizes at about 6%.

      摘要:220 mm steel blocks were cut at the edge of quenching testing slab of peritectic steel from curving section to straightening section, and then its surface quality and microstructure is anlysized. The result shows that transverse comer cracks appear at straightening section. With the extending of strand from curving section to straightening section,ferrite film at grain boundary of austenite become thicker and clear,and the grain size of austenite is in the range of 1.0 mm to 1.5 mm. Owing to the coarse grain of austenite and thick fragile ferrite film, transverse comer cracks spread along the grain boundary of austenite. With increasing cooling water in single narrow side of mould from original 30 〜32 m3/h to 34 ~36 m3/h,and shut the side sprayer of inner arc of straightening sections, transverse comer cracks slab is effectively controlled.

    • Effect of Vanadium on Wear Resistance of Track Shoe of Steel 25CrMnB

      摘要:Concentrating on the problem that the existing track shoes are vulnerable to rapid wear and tear caused early failure,in this paper,25CrMnB is used as the comparative steel,added 0. 08% ,0. 12% and 0. 16% vanadium respectively, smelted and cast into 50 kg steel ingots in a laboratory using a 150 kg medium frequency vacuum induction furnace. The steel ingot is heated by a box type electric resistance furnace and rolled into a flat steel of 12 mm thickness. The effects of different vanadium contents on the wear resistance is studied by wear resistance test and precipitation phase analysis. The results show that, with increasing vanadium content in the steel,the amount of vanadium precipitates increases,and the hardness as well as wear resistance of the test steel are significantly improved. When the vanadium content in the steel increases from 0.004% to 0.16% ,the HRC hardness value of the test steel increased from 36.5 to 43.5,compared with 25CrMnB steel,and the relative abrasion rate decreases from 100% to 88.2% ,and the relative abrasion rate decreased by 11.8%.

      摘要:The new energy automobile motor shaft made of non-quenched and tempered steel 50MnSiV (/% :0.50C, 0.52Si, 1.20Mn, 0.010P, 0.025S, 0.15Cr, 0.10V, 0.015Ti, 0.015N) by eliminating traditional carburizing heat treat¬ment, straightening and finishing process of steel 20CrMnTiH, can not only improve 95% materials utilization rate and 2 delivery days and can also reduce 25% costs. With tensile strength 1100 MPa, yield strength 858 MPa and impact energy 48 J, its static torque (4697 Nm),fatigue life ( ±1600 Nm bidirectional torsion 120 ,000 times, ± 1400 Nm bidirectional torsion 270,000 times) increased by 27% and 93% 〜140% respectively than that of carburized 20CrMnTiH motor shaft, and its performance index and 80,000 km road test results meet motor shaft technical requirements.
